Gordon Castelnero worked as a radio producer for Detroit’s WNIC for four years and cofounded a televison production company called Cambiare Entertainment, LLC. He has produced three very successful television programs Michigan, It Started Here!, Michigan and the American Dream, and Titanic: The Final Chapter for which he won an Emmy in the category of segment writing.
Since then, Castelnero has written and directed a quirky short film in 2001; drafted more than 25 television show proposals for various genres; penned several press releases; and authored articles for Michigan VUE magazine. He authored TV Land Detroit (University of Michigan press 2006).
David Russell taught courses in philosophy, history, and religion at Macomb Community College, Oakland Community College, William Tyndale College, and the Atlanta Campus of Mercer University.
He has been involved with bluegrass music since 1975, as a performer, a bluegrass banjo teacher, and accomplished songwriter. David has played professionally in several bluegrass bands that include Blue Velvet, The Mike Adams Band, Lare Williams and New Direction, and Hardline Drive. David was editor-in-chief of The Bluegrass Journal, a regional newspaper covering bluegrass music related news in the Midwest. He also authored six of the Hot Banjo Licks editions for the Hot Bluegrass Licks series.
