Dennis FUNG is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). He has been the principal investigator in many research projects and has published articles in prestigious journals including the Journal of Research in Science Teaching, Cambridge Journal of Education, and the International Journal of Educational Research. He completed his undergraduate and post-graduate education at HKU and received his MPhil and PhD in Education from the University of Cambridge.
Wai-mei LUI is the Project Manager of ‘The Influence of Liberal Studies on Students’ Participation in Socio-political Activities: The Case of the Umbrella Movement in Hong Kong,’ a research initiative exploring the relationship between Liberal Studies and political development in Hong Kong. She joined the University of Hong Kong’s Faculty of Education in 2015 and has since then participated in the publication of local civic education research.
