Doyub Kim is a senior engineer at Uber Maps Research team.
Doyub completed his B.S. and Ph.D. from Seoul National University. His doctoral research included physics-based animation and high-performance computing. Then he joined Carnegie Mellon University as a post-doctoral researcher and worked as a visiting researcher at U.C. Berkeley.
After completing his post-doc, Doyub started his industry career at Microsoft. He joined Microsoft Bing Maps group and worked on 3D maps for Windows. He then moved to Uber and is currently focusing on machine learning projects.
