The law affecting treatment decisions in mental healthcare for children and young people under 18 years of age is complex. Dr Sarah Huline-Dickens is Lead Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with Livewell Southwest, Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry and recently appointed Associate Dean, Health Education South West. Dr Huline-Dickens is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
