商品簡介
For more than 20-years, this category-defining book has been the authority on Third Culture Kids, children of expatriates, missionaries, military personnel and others who live and work abroad. The original TCK Profile brought to light the emotional and psychological realities that come with the TCK experience, often resulting in feelings of rootlessness and grief but also in increased confidence and the ability to interact with many cultures. Through compelling stories, personal writings, original diagrams and frameworks, this significantly updated edition continues the ground-breaking work of David Pollock and Ruth Van Reken and reveals the hidden diversity in our world and challenges our traditional notions of identity and home to show us how the TCK experience is becoming increasingly common and valuable.
