商品簡介
This collection of 15 papers presents recent research on gathering and assessing volunteered geographic information (VGI), and explores whether it is reasonable to count on volunteered efforts to develop high quality geographic data sources in the future or if VGI will fade away. The contributors propose a geospatial open collaborative architecture for disaster management, a data model for indoor navigation, a machine learning technique for assessing the quality of crowdsourced maps, and an automated methodology for creating land use and land cover maps using the OpenStreetMap platform.
