商品簡介
This history of American small towns looks at their founding and development from colonial times to the present, discussing political, economic, social, and cultural life in small towns. Patterns in development are illustrated with many specific examples of how towns came into existence, grew or declined, gave way to larger urban areas, and have reappeared in idealized forms. Includes many b&w historical photos. Russo is emeritus professor of history at McMaster University. Annotation c. Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)
