It includes a comprehensive anthology of original Rhine-related texts (historical, poetical and polemical).

Manfred Beller, Ph.D. (1965) University of Mainz, was Professor of German Language and Literature at the Italian Universities of Pavia, Messina, and Bergamp. He has published monographs and many articles on German and Comparative Literature in the fields of Tematology and Imagology, finally Eingebildete Nationalcharaktere.
