Heart Strings ― How many of us, if we knew we were dying, would look for and find a new soul mate for our one true love; and could this possibly bring us happiness?

Heart Strings is an amazing story of two women who are really not that different, but their situations are totally different. Joanna is trying to regain her sanity after a devastating divorce; while Martha has everything to live for, but is loosing it to an untimely sickness. Joanna absolutely gains an ingrained hatred for all men, which she is exploiting for the sake of a new book she is writing. The further she goes the more of a hole she is digging herself into. By the time she comes to the conclusion that she doesn’t really want to go through life alone, she’s just in too deep. Martha on the other hand, after great difficulty, finds the perfect woman for her soul mate, Robert; but the woman just happens to be Joanna. Robert is totally shocked by his wife asking him to date another woman, but succumbs to a dying woman’s last request. This by no means is her last wish, but is a request that no one could refuse. Martha has an uphill battle all the way, but Robert is patient and has promised Martha faithfully that he would at least give this a try. Joanna puts Robert through everything she can possibly think of, trying to find his faults; but ever so slowly ends up falling for this adorable man, whose eyes smiled at her. Martha finally has to come to Joanna’s rescue, after a super serious misunderstanding. This whole situation just starts Martha’s story and the wonderful things she is able to accomplish before leaving for Paradise.
