L. A. Hammer has now published four novels, the first three books in the Sons of Odin series, and now Book Four of Sons of Odin, which begins the second half of the main series. He intends to continue writing this series for another two to three books for the main series, with ideas in mind for a middle series of at least six books, with each half of the series detailing the lives of Highlander's son and grandson, during the thousand year Age of Chaos. The edited and improved Trilogy edition 'Books One to Three of the Sons of Odin: Collector's Edition', was recently reviewed by Kirkus as three separate reviews for each of the three books, and the BlueInk review remains for Book Two. During studies in the genre, Hammer has begun to work on a new series, mashing up characters from myth and history, mixing classics such as Robin Hood, Dracula, Cleopatra and King Arthur, into an original story line that tries to work theory from ancient Greece, to Shakespeare to Freud into a disciplined research of human behavior and the human psyche. There is no set time line for when Sons of Odin will be completed, though Hammer hopes to release a printed version compilation of Book Four and the new Book Five, in 800 pages in print.
