Debora Diniz is a professor of bioethics at the University of Brasilia. She also serves as a member of the Brazilian Ministry of Health’s National Network of Specialists on Zika and Related Diseases and as vice-chair of the International Women’s Health Coalition’s board of directors. She is also an award-winning documentary filmmaker, and her most recent film, Zika draws on the research behind this book. Diane Grosklaus Whitty is a translator specializing in the fields of history, health, and the social sciences.
