《心理學英語/21世紀EAP學術英語系列叢書》共分6個單元，每個單元涉及一個熱點心理學專題，主要包含4方面內容：講座、課文A、課文B和練習部分。具體說明如下：
講座部分：內容與單元主題相關，長度在8—10分鐘左右，包含3個練習。作為熱身練習，學生在開始聽材料之前，好先熟悉書中提供的詞匯和術語，預先學習背景材料中的相關知識，以幫助聽力理解。
課文部分：課文A和課文B都與每個單元的主題相關，有利于學生圍繞相關主題進行深入的思考和討論。學生在閱讀課文時，歸納段落大意，總結全文，剖析觀點，并結合當今心理學領域的問題展開討論。對于文中所涉背景知識，要充分利用互聯網查找背景資料，閱讀材料，書寫摘要，培養心理學學科中應具備的洞析能力及口、筆頭表達能力。
練習部分：包含語義、句法及語篇方面的練習，涉及口語、寫作及翻譯技能。書中所設練習，多為心理學詞匯或術語，要求學生強記強背，多使用文中學習的專業和學術語言進行寫作和心理學案例分析，增強心理學專業英語語感。
