Thorns and Roses ― A Self-help Memoir for Women With Sexual Pain

In this courageous memoir, J. Cole shares her journey of hope and healing after a 13 year struggle with sexual pain. As she describes in the preface: "This story is real; it is raw. I did not hold anything back. I want readers to know their physical, mental, and emotional struggles do not mean they are in some way broken. Every single person alive is struggling somehow, somewhere." Throughout the book, Cole encourages women who are suffering from sexual pain to seek help. J. Cole is a passionate advocate for women's health, serving as a support leader for the National Vulvodynia Association. In 2016, she organized the Tulsa Women's Health Alliance-a group of healthcare providers in and around Tulsa, Oklahoma, who strive to educate, support, and empower women with pelvic pain. Cole is also an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and founder of Fundamentally Well. She lives in Oklahoma with her husband and their children.
