Giorgos Papantoniou, Ph.D. (2008), The University of Dublin, Trinity College, is currently a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of History and Archaeology, University of Cyprus. He has published extensively on ancient Cypriot material culture history, landscape archaeology, ritual, cult, and iconography including Religion and Social Transformations in Cyprus. From the Cypriot Basileis to the Hellenistic Strategos (Brill, 2012). He is the coordinator of the international network ‘Unlocking Sacred Landscapes’ (http://www.ucy.ac.cy/unsala/).
Demetrios Michaelides, Ph.D. (1981), University of London, is currently Emeritus Professor in the Department of History and Archaeology, University of Cyprus. He has published widely on Hellenistic and Roman Cyprus, as well as on Mediterranean mosaics, their iconography and technique. He is Vice President of the Association Internationale pour l’Etude de la Mosaique ?ntique (AIEMA) and President Emeritus of the International Committee for the Conservation of Mosaics (ICCM).
Maria Dikomitou-Eliadou, Ph.D. (2012), University College London, is currently a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London. Her research, interdisciplinary in nature, focuses on ceramic technology and production, its differing modes of organisation, ceramic distribution, as well as technological and cultural change, and how these can be identified, recorded and explained by modern archaeology.
