In the late 1950s, the Palladium Film Theater was the most popular place in Emberview, Colorado. In her first night working as an usherette, young Katrina Stevens wants to cause an impression. But during the screening of a science-fiction movie, her boss Don Keller is found murdered in the projection booth. With the Palladium facing closure, Katrina decides to organize a film festival using the old reels left by Don. The murderer might have other plans, though, and unless Katrina finds out who he is, the Palladium and her own life are in danger.
