It is written in verse, as I have found that children enjoy listening to phrases that rhyme.I wrote Under The Green Umbrella for my grandson, Ryder. We would often sit beneath his very own umbrella, while he spoke of the things he could do, and places he could go, if that umbrella were indeed magic, and could carry him there I hope this book leads many children to all sorts of marvelous adventures
