Male Domestic Abuse: Men Suffer Too takes a journey into the world of domestic abuse exploring why male victims are so reticent to come forward. The book explores the different forms of domestic abuse, detailing the warning signs as well as some of the reasons why people undertake such behaviour. We will analyse statistics, societal perceptions and examine the correlation between legal definitions and the way as a society, we view domestic abuse across the genders. The book also addresses domestic abuse within the LGBT+ community, examining reasons why this may not be widely reported.

Whilst the focus is on male domestic abuse, the book offers an informative view into abuse in general and addresses the question of whether a more galvanised and non-gendered approach is required to tackle the issue moving forward. The informative content will benefit anybody affected by abuse either directly or indirectly, regardless of gender or sex.
