Fundamentals of Numerical Analysis Techniques for Engineering Applications

The present book is focused on numerical analysis and engineering for engineering students and their application. It is the outgrowth of our several years of teaching postgraduate courses. In this book, all the basic concepts in numerical analysis and engineering are clearly identified and presented in a simple manner with illustrative examples and applications. Authors have also attempted to make this book self-contained as much as possible; for example, materials needed from previous courses, such as equations, theory and applications are presented. Each chapter also has a set of questions and problems to test the student's power of comprehending the topics. Many of our colleagues and academic friends helped us by giving valuable suggestions on the structure and content of this text and these were instrumental in improving the quality and presentation of this book.
