When Wolves Come

I started writing this book in the year 2000, that was over 17 years ago.

For the longest, I could only write when I had grown in an area or made peace with my

experience as it related to a certain principle. At one point, I thought it was - finished and

ready to publish - but God had other plans. Three times I lost it, once an old computer

broke down, then a laptop blacked out permanently, - finally, my hard drive was stolen.

In discouragement, I gave up on rewriting it because it was simply too much for me.

Then one day, just like the miracle that is my life, on a completely new computer, it

appeared in the - les. I rejoiced, and stood once again in awe at the love and power of

my God. Truly, my life and the story that came as a result of my experiences, just kept

rising from the ashes.

In 2015, the mighty warrior and I meet for the last time, but it was not on the battle- eld,

it was in the peace - elds. He was frail and broken on the outside, but had made his

peace with God... and now we would make peace with each other, along with Jordan, as

our witness. How be- fitting it was that our dear Jordan was with us. About 2 weeks later,

he went to be with the Lord, the last face he saw was our dear Jordan, the child of our

love.

Some things are forbidden. Our love was one of those things that I often wondered

about, but like the fruit in the garden - we took it anyway. I feel as though that was a

hundred lives ago. Today, I spend my time in God's Kingdom, training, teaching and

encouraging leaders to develop Godly character. You should never allow a gift to carry

you where character can't keep you. I should not have survived my many encounters

with the Wolf, but by the grace and mercies of God I live to tell the story and to serve my

God. To all of you I only say, beware, there may be a Wolf at your door!
