Case Study: Me

Caleb Matthews, MD, was born in 1991 to his beloved state of Georgia. Taking an early affinity for athletics and science, he was accepted to Stetson University and, subsequently, the University of Florida College of Medicine. He took a keen interest in Cardiothoracic Surgery being accepted into a highly competitive Integrated CT Surgery program at Indiana University. During his second year of residency, Caleb was diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer, metastatic at the time of diagnosis. Join him as he leads you through the entire human experience through a young man's battle with cancer marked by sobs and folly to triumph and victory, laughing and learning along the way.
