Roberta Jackson was born and resides in Atlanta, GA. She is married to Tyrone Jackson, the mother of Tommie Grant III, and Isaac Grant, a grandmother to Jordan and Amari (children of Tommie). She is currently employed as the Administrator Assistant at one of the oldest African American Congregational Churches in the United States. Roberta's fascination and ultimately love for poetry started when she was in the 5th grade. Her journey of writing started years later and now she has written poetry for over 30 years to encourage individuals/groups, for special occasions at church and for Funeral Services and as a self-ministering tool.
