Some universities have selected this book as one of the textbooks for their CAD/CAM courses.
Even practicing engineers have learned CNC programming from this book, as commercial CNC training is too expensive.
Therefore, for those interested in the CNC area, this book should remain available in the market.
When the book remained out of print for several years, the issue was discussed with Galgotias.
Since they were no longer interested in the publication business, they agreed to transfer the book's copyright to the author in March 2022 to enable him to re-publish it through an alternate channel. The present book is the pdf version of the same book as an eBook. Some manual corrections/additions can be seen in some places.
These are done by the author himself, hence are authentic. Please note that some topics such as canned cycles on a lathe (G70-G76), probing and FMS have been completely revised, but could not be incorporated in the book.
