Whenever young Jasper was too sick to go outside and play in the snow with his friends, he was crushed. In an attempt to cheer him up his mom made him a cup of hot cocoa and added extra marshmallows.
However, much to Jasper's surprise, they weren't just normal marshmallows, they were magic marshmallows!
The marshmallows began swirling around and formed Max, the Marshmallow Cowboy!
Max and Jasper quickly become best friends. Max helps Jasper understand that his mom wasn't being mean by not letting him go outside and play in the snow but she was keeping him in so he could get better before Christmas Day!
Jasper learns how he can choose what attitude he will have for every situation and how those choices are his decision. He chooses to be happy for all he has.
Max reminds him that anytime he needs him that all he has to do is, "Just add marshmallows."
