Trust is what our world is losing. It's very rare a witch is to trust a Fey, well Half-Fey. The wolves are running around like they've had their heads cut off and Davids clan is in trouble.
David, the warlock leader of Lakewood clan, has in trusted me with his family grimmbook. In order to do this I had to move to Lakewood and hide my true identity as a Half-Fey. To everyone I am now human. I cannot openly use my abilities given to me by my shadow of a father.
The bright side of all this is I finally get to live with my mother. A human. A human who gave me to my Fairy father with the best in mind. That's more then the wolves would do.
"Jezza," my mom says as she pulls me into another hug. She gives my arm a light squeeze before releasing me. I go and sit on my bed with a small sigh.
"Mom, I'm tied. I'm so tired," I say laying my head on my pillow. She starts playing with my hair with a sigh.
"It'll only get worse, my little Fairy."
"How did you ever get involved with all of this?" I ask while closing my eyes.
"That's a story for another time."
"David is having so much trouble with everything mom. He has given me such a burden that I must carry. Dad said this is what I was made for," I explain while shaking my head.
Soon enough she leaves me alone with my thoughts. So many people are counting on me. David, his family, his covern, Regans pack, my father, and my people. Glancing at my clock I realize it's three a.m.
Maybe one little sleeping spell won't hurt. After all I've been working on my other languages.
