The team has been brought together. The next task is harder than getting them together: they have to work together. Two dozen different personalities, with different perspectives, different thresholds, and diverse enough to make anyone question how they even stand being around each other.
What makes a team? The easy work, or the despair, and pain that they undergo? Magic, blood, gore, powers beyond their comprehension, and brute force are some of the facets that shape this team to get it to what it needs to be. Unexpected twists shape the morale of the team, without them realizing it. How about something else, completely unexpected?
There will be Heartbreak, Happiness, and Humanity. That is not something one would expect when seeing that many"pre-programmed machines of war." If there was ever a time when the team could be broken, it would be now. Or perhaps it could be brought together, stronger than before. Who knows?
