Molten salt is salt that, at normal temperature and pressure, is in the solid phase but has transitioned to the liquid phase due to a rise in temperature. An effort has been made to compare the outcomes of Yttria stabilized zirconia thermal barrier coating on substrate materials with molten salts under high temperature environment.
