This is a look at many pursuits, travels, and activities I've undergone during my more than a few years in this world. It's a memoir with lots of fun details about my experiences in the U. S. and many other countries I've visited. Especially memorable were the people I got to know along the way, and the several I continue to stay in touch with decades later. Those who read this might find they - relate readily to many of their own adventures.
Tom is a prolific author, with books covering a variety of topics: enjoying nature, experiencing travel, relaying humorous true tales, and even stirring us with Christmas adventures. His poems have appeared in many of his own books, magazines, and group anthologies.
He captured his 'round-the world travels to 27 countries in On the Road in '68: a year of turmoil, a journey of friendship. Wearing his weekend hat, he is co-author, with Jack Farnan, of Outdoors San Diego: Hiking, Biking and Camping. And donning his poet's cap, he authored a set of humorous tales in Titillating Tales for the Outhouse. He and his wife, Leslie Johnson-Leech, are authors of the illustrated children's tale The Curious Adventures of Santa's Wayward Elves.
