Dr. Giep founded and served as president of Newborn Intensive Care Specialists (NICS) for seventeen years, where he and his staff provided hospitals with 24/7 neonatology, pediatric hospitalists, and Maternal Fetal Medicine programs. In 2017, the company was sold to a national company.
