Marigold Luxe is a public relations fixer. She makes her celebrity client's bad behavior disappear. Her job her whole world, which (as her best friend loves to point out) doesn't leave her much time for a love life. So when the sexy brewmaster from the local brewery impulsively asks her to play her date for a fundraising event--one night, no strings attached--it seems like the perfect opportunity to enjoy a little nightlife on the arm of a beautiful woman.

Kasima Powell loves her work at the family brewery, but she doesn't love the way her parents worry about her single status. She'll date again when she's good and ready. Asking the pretty woman she chats up one night while bartending to be her date to the SoCal Animal Rescue fundraiser seems like a great way to put their concerns at bay for a bit.

But when that no strings attached night turns into Marigold helping Kasima with a marketing project at the brewery, the fake dating lines begin to get a little blurry. If only Kasima wasn't so insistent on guarding her heart at all costs and Marigold's new client didn't keep her running to put out one PR fire after the next, maybe they really could be the perfect couple that everyone believes they are.
