The central characters in these tales are good people and bad people who find
themselves in strangely terrifying situations⸻usually of their own making. An
obsessed musician, a greedy soldier, a conscientious physician, an aspiring artist,
a major league pitcher⸻all are presented here in circumstances that bring to
mind Rod Serling's Night Gallery and The Twilight Zone.
Most of these stories are set in Western New York or are connected to the region
in some manner. They span multiple genres: fantasy, speculative fiction, parody,
suspense, and horror.
T. W. Kriner is the author of several books, including Journeys to the Brink of
Doom, In the Mad Water, and Twelve Dozen Four-by-Fours.
