This book is a humorous (and thoughtful) expression of my life-long musical journey as a Pacific Northwest musician, leading to an unforgettable, life changing move to New York - uprooting my life to follow my dream! My journey began by learning about music in elementary school and later, in my teens, developing more of an interest to become a musician, joining a high school garage band where I developed the songwriting, performing and recording skills needed to succeed in future projects, only to discover some of the pitfalls of being a local musician.
