Sharp claws or not. Slowly, she learns to trust Marcus, who helps heal her and give her a new name. As the nights pass, they begin to find comfort in the other as they find their own path of healing from what the world has taken from them, finding new pieces to move forward.
One learns where she could belong in a world of Undergrounds, metal buildings, and among Paranormals she never dreamed of living alongside.
While the other learns how to love again after his heart had long been broken and buried. This is a novella in the "Mafia, Murder, and Mayhem Series".
It can be read as a standalone, but strongly encouraged to read the main books of the series.
