Pillars: 12 Principles for Christian Living

Pillars-12 Principles for Christian Living is a book for maturing disciples, perhaps less for people who want to do great things for Christ, but for the people who want to be more like Christ, who want to know His love and be filled to the full measure of God, who want to bear the fruit of the Spirit abundantly and be rich in good deeds (Eph 3:16-20). It is for Christians who want to be God's people who, even though they find themselves in a Sardis-like or Laodicean-like environment, have not soiled their garments and will walk with Jesus, but are struggling with modern churchianity.
This is not a superficial book for the superficially minded, there are no easily acquired promises of a 'paint by numbers' faith, nor the promise of breakthrough that never comes without repentance. However, it is a rich exegetical insight into God's word, the world and the modern church, to help the maturing disciple to navigate amongst it all in a manner like Jesus and His apostles when they walked the earth. The victory over sin and death is still available, the same devil is still at work, the same Christ has overcome the world and is, surely, soon to return, and the same counsellor of the Holy Spirit available to anyone who has ears to hear. This book is written to help strengthen and encourage maturing disciples, and to ready them to stand before the King (Lk 21:36).
