Like every ancient country in the world, Iran also has a very old history of storytelling. From the advent of Islam until the 19th century, there are many stories in both prose and poetry that are not fictional but related to the daily life of human being. There is a good list of books written in Iran itself containing short stories. Saadi Shirazi's famous work "Gulstan-e-Saadi" is the best collection of moral stories in the guise of poetry and prose. Every literature is a reflection of its society and its civilization. It has its own mood and distinct terminology, which can sometimes make a reader of another language feel alienated. But the purpose of translation is to expand the scope of our literature by transferring the literature of other languages ​​into our own language and to enhance the beauty of our language and literature by incorporating new terms, idioms and thoughts. This book presents an Urdu translation of selected Persian short stories from a Persian collection and translated by Qamar Ghaffar.
