When I, as a seasoned Army officer and doctor with 22 years of service, thought that I was prepared for anything life threw my way and happened to face the uncharted territory of parenting a child with Autism, the journey is as unpredictable as it is transformative. But nothing better than this could have prepared me for the journey of parenting my sixteen-year-old son, Addwik, who is on the Autism spectrum.
