We confess,: Things we could never say out loud

Dear reader,

This book wasn't written out of inspiration. It was written out of moments when I didn't know what else to do. When words were the only place I could go to without having to explain myself. You know those nights when something aches inside you and you're not even sure what to name it? That's where this came from.

We Confess, is a collection of everything I never said out loud. The love that never became more than a feeling. The friendships that faded while I convinced myself they hadn't. The disappointment of not becoming who I thought I would be. It also holds the bonds that saved me and I truly value. It carries the versions of me that I have lost and the ones that I am still trying to understand.

I didn't write this book to offer answers, I don't have any. I wrote it because sometimes, the most healing thing is knowing you're not the only one feeling this way. So if any page makes you pause or if a line makes you feel seen, I hope you will let it. That's all this was ever meant to be. A home for the confessions we never got to say out loud.
