商品簡介
Are we being educated or slowly and systematically being miseducated and molded into slaves or at the very least slowly being turned into what I call Trans-English Afrikan Nationals? A confused group of learned English speakers who despise their own native languages and cultures. I am a Ugandan American who had the rare opportunity to live and attend school in both Uganda and the state of California (United States). In California school, I learned about America and Americanism and in the American language that is English. On the flip side, school in Uganda was/is conducted in English and for the most part, what I was taught had nothing to do with Uganda or Ugandans. Don't get me started on the spankings, beatings, and whippings with which school in Uganda comes. Which makes me wonder if it's indeed school or something more sinister like a prison or even worse a slave plantation. (Don't mind me, I love to think out loud sometimes).
Anyway ladies and gentlemen, please sit back and enjoy this exclusive story that lies behind that English that your African friend, neighbor, potential husband/wife, workmate, or classmate magically already can speak, write, and read even if they fresh off the boat a few hours ago, so to speak.
