This book explores in detail the different facets of statistical analysis in the biomedical sciences. It begins with a few statistical basics, explaining some basic biostatistical terminology. He then moves on to univariate analysis, to describe and summarize individual data; bivariate and multivariate analysis, to study relationships between several variables, with emphasis on the choice of appropriate statistical tests; logistic regression models; linear regression and survival analysis.
