Thinking up forty items to do before her fortieth birthday makes Harley Anderson realize her life is boring. Her ideas: take a pottery class, make soap, cook something sophisticated. But if her bestie has anything to say about it, she'll be doing things way more out of her comfort zone, like petting a shark, exploring caves or skydiving.

As the social media manager for the town of Tinsel, Tennessee, Harley features new businesses and townspeople doing good deeds on Tinsel's social media feeds. When she meets daredevil, retired Marine, sex-on-a-stick Ryan Blaylock, she immediately steps out of her comfort zone. Will she add his name to her "things to do before turning forty" list?

Ryan recently moved to Tinsel and became the owner of Freefalling Adventures. Opening a skydiving outfit in conjunction with his best friend's flying lessons business was a no-brainer. Goal number one: get his first student safely to the ground. Goal number two: help Harley explore and expand her comfort zone. Falling for her is easy. Now he just has to see if he can get her up in the air. Will he be able to persuade her to put her trust in him and a parachute, and launch herself out of a plane to celebrate her big day? Can he turn her into an adrenaline junkie too and convince her to spend the rest of their lives together chasing that high?
