Just too bad my Lycan curse was lifted, as I had always enjoyed running and hunting with her. Cathair came out at that moment, as if reading my thoughts.

"By Lord Druid, it's cold out here!" He spat to watch it freeze in the blanket of snow and cinched his shaggy yakhide cloak a bit tighter. "The full moon is rising, youngster, and I have something for you to consider before you run away on us. The solstice is here, and the veil between the realms is at its thinnest.
