He was a carpenter, his father was a carpenter, and his grandfather to. His child hood was a contrast of his grandfathers love and skill and his fathers drunken abusive rampages. His father always looked for the easiest way cutting corners and doing shoddy work. His grand father took pride in his work knowing that it reflected who he was. In a moment of drunken stupor john had tried to take his own life. When he from the darkness he had, had enough. Packing his Grandfathers tools in a duffel bag along with the bare necessities he laced up his boot and just started to walk. A few miles down the road his cell phone rang. he just stared at it, blankly, before throwing it as far as he could. The smashing sound made him feel free. He had traveled for days which turned into weeks, then months doing odd jobs to get by. Then he heard of a place, "The Commune". he turned his boot in that direction hoping to find was has always been missing...
