Our Lockdown Book

"Our Lockdown Book" is a vibrant and moving anthology created by the students of the Royal School of Dunkeld. Born out of the unprecedented challenges of the 2020 global pandemic, this collection captures the unique perspectives of children as they navigated a world in lockdown.

• Observational Poetry & Creative Writing: Reflections on nature and hope, featuring works like "The Tree's Story" and the "See what I found?" series.
• Whimsical Tales: Original stories featuring Squeaky the church mouse and Titch the field mouse, teaching lessons of patience and community.
• Student Art & Photography: A gallery of land art, sketches of local landmarks like the Telford Bridge, and "Ishi" stone adventures.
• A Community Record: Contributions from students across the school, including primary levels, documenting their "new normal"-from home schooling to nature walks.
