New materials and new processes in textile production have led to a significant demand of appropriated analytical methods for characterization of certain functionality. Assessment of product quality for improved sustainability and circularity requires application of specific analytical methods. Widely used standard methods mainly address technical product quality and durability. Process development and quality determination in textile and fiber research and product development require specific analytical methods, which go beyond the available series of standard procedures.
