In this professional thesis, I sought to demonstrate that the use of folktales (both global and traditional) as well as regional legends can enrich several areas of learning. I therefore focused my research on written production by conducting a study based on the observation of written work. However, I was also interested in the impact that working with these texts could have on comprehension, imagination, and cultural heritage. To this end, I drew on provided readings, text analysis, as well as an immersion in and exploration of this world. Through this work, I observed that the use of these texts facilitated student progress across various skill areas, yet this approach had its own limitations, resulting in limited or even non-existent progress for some students.
