This is a big deal because psychotherapy is not merely a talking process about one's pscyhological challenges that, perhaps, have become overwhelming., depressing, or fatiguing. Psychotherapy is not simply about healing and reducing one's emotional confusion. It is about re-orienting one's life's purpose. It is often about learning new ways to reduce past emotional pain that holds one back. It is about going beyond mere survival to add meaning and authentic purpose to one's entire life including relationships and career. Psychotherapy is about Healing the Mind and Spirit and adding purpose and meaning to one's life.
