Twenty-five-year-old Taya Robinson isn't very good at speaking up for herself. Saying no is really hard! That's part of the reason she avoids most people and surrounds herself with animals. Taya has built a life that is predictable and steady, exactly the way she likes it, until the day her twin sister Kayla decides to recreate The Dating Game, an old show from the seventies. Kayla begs Taya to be the female contestant; there just isn't time to find someone else.

But how can she say no to her sister?
As the process unfolds in a plethora of uncomfortable ways, Taya tries hard to be the person she thinks Kayla wants her to be, at the cost of being the person she really is. With the help of her new friend, Owen, Taya finds the courage to really talk with her sister.
