A hawk that does not eat meat and wants to be friends with birds and furry creatures sounds preposterous, but it's true. From birth Peck the hawk did not like meat. She did not want to be like the other hawks, so, she left her family in search of another type of family; ones with birds and furry creatures. She found them on a farm in the south, but to gain their trust, she has to first prove to them that she was trustworthy and would not eat them. She did this accidentally, by having to fight off another hawk who was about to eat one of her new feathered friends.
