It's the fall of 1988 and two best friends--one departing for college, one destined for a bad boy townie life at home--decide to have a final video night before their friendship changes forever. Slowly, the whole town is taken over by these murderous alien beings, but the teens do not go down easy. Blood, sex, rock and roll, and invaders from outer space infuse this cult classic with plenty of nostalgia while taking a serious look at male teen friendship.
