Now I want to tell you why I, Sunbeam, was created. One day Alice {Author} asked, "Lord, why did you choose me to write your stories? I can't type. My English is terrible. I don't have a computer and even if I did I wouldn't know how to operate it. How am I going to create the pictures without some kind of illustrations to go by? HELP! Why me, Lord? I thought you would give me something less difficult to do." God's answer was, "Trust me, Alice. I will supply all your needs. Alice, I want the children on Earth to know me better. I want them to know who I am and how much I love them. I want to fill their young minds with my words and with my love. I need someone who loves me the way you do to write these stories for me." God has kept his promise and supplied more than all her needs.
Sunbeam, relates to the little boy or girl in each of us through his stories.
[Some people brought children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them, but the disciples scolded the people. Jesus said, "Let the children come to me and do not stop them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
