Empty Nest

This story is about Jemimah Jope's realization of God's promise to her in her youth. Jemimah fully realizes the promise of a large family while teaching an eternal truth to her children on the omniscience of the Creator God. This book explores the limited probability of man's estimated calculations versus the all-knowing, specific knowledge of God. Information that seems obvious to most Christian believers comes as quite a revelation to some members of the body.

This book is the first in a series of books highlighting the words "Living Waters." Jemimah is married with a growing family and, by chance, begins to ponder the concept of the nest and the quickness with which time will progress, and before we realize it, the present will have passed into the past, forever unreachable from our present time. This event occurs in real time on her family farm and spurs Jem into action to communicate the sanctity of life message to her growing children in a practical and meaningful way.

God's creation operates under His sovereign will. This book takes the young reader through each stage of the physical development of the nesting birds. The Colman family members are passive observers throughout each phase of development, from nest building to the first flight. Meditating upon the ways of God, we are able to reach a small understanding of the power and intelligence of our Father.

With the arrival of the newest members of the Colman clan, William and Wesley, the family determines now is the time to plan a trip to the Pacific in search of closure. Little will they realize how God's plan and purpose for them now will eventually lead them to their final spiritual destination.
